Program Overview
Operation Art Adventures™ brings art and creative learning into Salem-Keizer classrooms. Through grants from Assistance League Salem-Keizer, teachers can purchase supplies and create hands-on art experiences that connect creativity with classroom learning.
Who We Serve
The program serves students in Title I elementary schools throughout the Salem-Keizer School District, helping provide arts experiences that may otherwise be limited by school resources.
Why It Matters
Art gives children another way to learn, explore ideas, and express themselves. Operation Art Adventures™ helps teachers create memorable experiences that connect art with subjects such as reading, writing, history, and social studies.
How ALSK Makes It Happen
Assistance League Salem-Keizer provides funding for teacher-led art projects and partners with local arts organizations to bring additional programming and experiences to students. Our support helps fill funding gaps and makes creative opportunities possible for more local children.
