A Piece of Salem History
The historic Daue House was built in 1907–08 and now serves the community as home to the Assistance League Gift Shop.
This large two-and-one-half-story Craftsman Bungalow was built for Alexander Daue by his brother Louis S. Daue. The house remained in the Daue family for at least 70 years and today hosts the Assistance League Gift Shop for the benefit of the Salem-Keizer community.
